Job Summary/Purposes

The incumbent is responsible for exploring and qualifying business development opportunities and providing feasibility studies for Prada China. He/she also provides assistance in negotiating and closing leasing contracts as necessary.

Responsibilities

Market Research

? Closely monitors market dynamics and actively seeks business development opportunities by frequent site visits, building and maintaining positive relationships with prospective landlords.

? Constantly collects market information related to direct competitors’ moves and keeps track of the progress

? Provides a monthly report to management with market and direct competitors’ recent moves.

? Provides city/shopping mall investigation reports and any ad hoc market analysis reports as requested.

Project Recommendation

? Conducts initial projects screening according to the company’s business development strategy and general project selection criteria in China.

? Prepares detailed feasibility studies for each site for management review; reports all sites with direct competitors.

? Actively involves in negotiation processes by influencing landlords to achieve the most favorable contract terms and conditions.

Post-Project Monitoring

? Keeps track of exiting contracts and reminds the management of any renewal needs. Helps the management renew the contract if needed.

? Negotiates with landlords when contract obligations are not fulfilled.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

? 8+ years of working experience in Business Development, with a significant of amount spent in Luxury, Retail or commercial real estate

? Ability to apply integrated thinking and business acumen to think through complex issues, then articulate recommendations

? Skilled in communicating (written and verbal), influencing, managing multiple projects, and working in a matrix organization

? Self-motivated, able to work independently and influence others to drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment

? Fluency in both Chinese and English.

? Strong academic background
