Responsibilities
?Lead/Support Global Purchasing Sourcing Approval Forum reviews and approvals for IMG (International Market Group) program sourcing.
?Manage cost, quality, and delivery of commodity over Program lifecycle.
?Lead regional cost reduction negotiation and the Program sourcing.
?Truly understand the commodity cost, and delivery the saving opportunities by identifying commercial leverage versus design efficiencies and end-to-end supply chain improvements.
?Manage the Supply risk with short term/long term solutions and workplans by working with cross functional teams, suppliers and Global teams where needed.
?Interface with cross functional teams for quality internal cooperation, and smooth delivery of the commodity strategy and program launch.
?Work with Product Development to understand latest supply base footprint, financial health ratings, technologies, and trends.
?Enhance healthy relationship with suppliers for mutual success on business.
Qualifications
?Bachelor's degree.
?5+ years of Supply chain experiences.
?Production Purchasing experience in Automotive industry.
?Adequate technical knowledge on Electrical commodities.
?Strategic thinking & Strong sense of priority and ownership
?Strong analytical skills (Data driven and able to analyze multiple potential scenarios / business plans).
?Strong communication skills in English with cross functional teams.
?Extensive experience on supply risk management.
Preferred previous experiences and skills
?Rich Commodity sourcing experience for Electrical commodities.
?Strong negotiation skills (creating leverage in both offensive and defensive situations)
?Comprehensive knowledge in Purchasing procedures, Program launch, and manufacturing process, etc.
?Ability to interpret organization needs and commercial strategies as input into global Category Strategies.
?Lead/ support cross functional team & drive towards common solution in complicated cases.
?Proactive actions to address issues with initiatives.
